Good food & atmosphere. My office retirement luncheon was held in the "private room" and it awesome.

It was a little bit of a wait for our main meal but the chips and dip appetizer came as expected for the wait for an appetizer. They make their own potato chips here and boy was it good! Its not hard and it was crispy and still warm when we got it. The atmosphere is more like a steampunk atmosphere... which is nice for my taste. I like it. The background music is a little bit loud but not loud enough to bust your eardrums off. Borderline though. Definitely loud enough not to hear the person seating behind you.When we got our food... the wait is worth it. They cooked the burgers to perfection and nailed the bacon mac and cheese. Worth giving it a shot guys.We ordered chocolate cake for dessert and they were good too. Thank you Foundry. We Enjoyed our first experience.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ohio! Their menu is exciting and everything on it is equally delicious. They’re clean and fast and the bartenders are super helpful. I come in for dinner every time I’m up North!

Good food with friendly service and cool decora, bring back downtown Elyria in a good way. From the burgers to chicken sandwiches, food has been cooked right and served hot, beverages are always looked after. E-town proud.

Great food, slow service. Very slow. Took forever to get a table. Kitchen was backed up according to waitress which might explain why tables were scarce.

Beautiful restaurant. I was excited to try it. I have to say I was definetly let down. If you're coming in just to drink I'd recommend this spot. I'm not sure I'll ever eat here again. The poutine tasted fine, but is not poutine in traditional sense. It's a good size app and could feed 3-4. I picked this place cause I wanted to try the Cuban, turns out they don't make it at all anymore. Ordered buffalo chicken as a wrap, it was difficult to eat. Really mushy. Husband had the mac and cheese burger. The hamburger had great flavor but was overcooked from the medium well he ordered. The mac and cheese part was bust. Flavorless and dry. Again, if you are just stopping for a drink, go for it.

Elyria's crown Jewel of restaurants in downtown. Great food with a relaxed atmosphere. Cool enough to grab a craft cocktail with friends, delicious enough for a nice date and a simple but quality kids menu for a fair price. The staff is always more than kind and I truly love having somewhere I can take my two boys that has interesting food for me that can also accommodate my picky eaters.

Prices are always reasonable. The service is usually good. The bar is nice and the patio area is perfect for brunch. The chicken and waffle pizza really surprised us by how delicious it was.

Had brunch today, food was excellent. It has an open area to eat for those people watchers. Great place to have a private party for under 25. Many changes happening in the next year for this business, stay tunned!!

If you are in the area this is a MUST! This is a diamond in the ruff. The decor is fun and interesting. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The menu has something for everyone even gluten free. The food is delicious! Rather large beer options both bottled and draft even gluten free! There’s free street parking. Wheelchair accessible. We’re definitely coming back to try their brunch.

Saying the food is great is an understatement. I was part of a very large crowd and the staff was polite, accurate and amazing.

Amazing food and staff! The wedge salad was perfect with lots of cheese and bacon! The Yum Yum Bang was spicy and fill of flavor! My dad had the Salmon... Yum! My mom had the Short Rib dinner... Full plate of delicious food!!! Great for parties since the have the private room!!!

Saturday evening 6:00 pm, my first time here, not real busy (about 1/2-2/3 full). The menu is fairly large with many interesting items. My wife and I were there with another couple and veryone had something different. I had the Buffalo Chicken Mac (awesome!), the others had the Meatloaf, Salmon, and B&B burger with a side of sweet potato fries. Our server was attentive and on the ball throughout. We all took advantage of the variety at the table sampling each other's dish. We were all impressed with all four entrees. Prices were modest and a pretty large craft beer selection. We really enjoyed our experience here and really look forward to our next visit!

Stopped in for a late lunch, not overly crowded. Mr.& Mrs.Turtle was impressed with the service, cleanliness (including restrooms), and the decor? VERY NICE, Unique very unique, a must see. QUITE a menu with quite a variety . Mrs.Turtle had the loaded grilled cheese & tomato bisque...4star! Mr.Turtle had the "Elyrian", a local twist to the Philly cheese steak but different also very yummy, both came with homemade chips. Throw in coffee & a couple of beers & the cost, more than a local pub but worth the price. Service? On the spot. Gotta experience the unique ambiance, hopefully Elyria will catch up!

We really liked this place.We were traveling home to Detroit and I found them online. Glad I did. Cool interior, terrific menu (many full meals, including pasta and pizza, excellent choice of burgers including special burgers for each day of the week).We both had burgers. My wife had their Monday special, I had an off menu burger called the Canadian Eh. It had a nice slice of Canadian bacon.Our server was very friendly and helpful. They have a nice selection of draft beer and she brought me several tasting samples to help me decide.All in all we really enjoyed ourselves.We'll return the next time we're in the neighborhood.

Great food! Excellent service. I had the BLT Romain Salad with Chicken added and my Fiance had Braised Short Ribs. Both were amazing! Absolutely delicious! Loved the atmosphere. We also had Happy Hour Martinis and later the Mule Specials. They were perfect! I definitely recommend this place!!

We’ve been here a couple times and are extremely impressed with the food. The atmosphere/decor is also fun. We highly recommend trying this out. The normal lunch/dinner options are excellent and their brunch food is amazing as well!

I really like this place. I have never had bad service, and I have been there at all hours. The staff is friendly, and the food has always been good. My favorite is their burgers.

My family recently attended my son's graduation from the Police Academy at LCCC and decided to grab lunch afterwards. We called Foundry and they happily accommodated our party of 12 and took great care of us. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and the food was delicious. Very trendy place to enjoy a really good meal and beverage of choice. Very clean, service was fantastic. Parking a little scarce, but to expected at a downtown location.

We stopped in Elyria during a cross-country road trip and were looking for something other than a chain restaurant. Foundry Kitchen fit the bill. They have a fairly extensive list of tap beers, and their cocktails are creative. At the suggestion of our server, I ordered the Pan Seared Salmon, which was served over rice noodles with a sweet thai chili sauce. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the array of fresh veggies was a nice touch, but the sauce was a little too sweet and overwhelmed the dish. Wait staff were friendly but aloof.

While visiting town on business for a couple of days, we went in for lunch two days in a row, and dinner in between. When you find a place this good, there’s no need to search elsewhere. Excellent daily specials, both on food and on adult beverages. Surprisingly good beer, and whiskey/bourbon/scotch/rye selections available. My colleague and I both love good whiskey, and found it difficult to decide given all the great choices. Service was reasonably prompt, and our meals were excellent. We will certainly visit the Foundry every time we’re in town.

This is the former Moss's restaurant which was featured on "Restaurant Impossible" with Robert Irvine. Well before that, it was actually a foundry, and the designers paid homage to that with the "industrial chic" interior decor and enlarged old photos from the 1920 foundry days. The menu, and bar, has something for everyone. The food was delicious! We will be back.

It was really good food I had the B&M burger made with a chicken breast the chicken was so moist the whole thing was delicious the chips were good to. My husband had the fried Mac and cheese burger which was really good also the fried Mac and cheese was huge compare to the burger pattie and he had fries.

Good food good service. Was first time there will not be our last. Great atmosphere. Son and daughter-in-law in from out of town great place to take them they loved it also.

Simple menu with tasty offerings. Tried something new each visit and haven't had a bad experience. Staff will steer you in the right direction if you're not certain.
